How do you feel when you wake up in the morning? What is the first thing you think about? If you are going to succeed in this highly competitive world of network marketing I can tell you how you should be feeling. First should be gratitude that you are alive. Pretty soon after that, should be ‘How successful is today going to be and what can I do to make it more successful’.
I have to admit that I am NOT a morning person. I’m a night owl and I struggle to be out of bed when most people are thinking about elevenses. However, when they are all tucked up in bed, I’m still online, sending mails, and searching for new contacts.
A few days ago, I was watching TV and saw someone who was enjoying some success at last, after years of hard work and I wrote about him over on IBO Toolbox. Here is an excerpt of what I said.
I learned a lesson yesterday in what can happen if you never lose sight of a goal. What most network marketers want is success and everything that comes with it. We want to see the results of our hard work in our bank balances and in our email – notifications every day about new people joining our businesses or enquiring about them.
You can carry on reading my post over there –
The jump from merely being a reader and subscriber of your blog to being an enthusiastic customer will be made easier if you absorb and understand one specific concept. You have to offer your subscribers VALUE if you want them to consider buying from you.
So how do you do that? If you fill in the subscribe form here on my blog, you will now be taken to a ‘Thank You’ page on which I offer you a free report about listbuilding. For subscribers who have been with me for a while, you may recall something different, and you would be right. However, the last couple of days showed me that I was not using my blog in the most efficient way.

Many Internet Marketers complain that there are just not enough hours in the day even to do what they need to, for keeping their business active, let alone all the extras they would LIKE to do.
I’ve been guilty of this myself the last few months but a little revision of the list of absolute essentials has got me back on track.
One thing I have not kept up is to watch constantly for any new techniques to build my list. As a result, something almost escaped my attention before the owner closed off access to it.
There are two schools of thought about how much work internet marketers should be doing over the Christmas and New Year period.
One says that no-one will be reading emails or interested in joining new programs for the next week or two because they will be busy with family, friends and celebrations.
The other one says that as self-employed people, we will be aware that every minute we spend away from our business could be lost money.
So, how do we balance these two theories and put in just enough of the right kind of effort over the holiday period?
In an earlier post on this blog here I talked about joining Karatbars as a business. I now want to show you how you can buy the Karatbars gold products as gifts for your friends and family as a customer, and to show you some examples of the lovely gold cards that you can buy for your special occasions.

If you have read other articles about Contact List Builder here or elsewhere you may know that it comprises a set of programs that together make up a toolset for internet marketers.
Given that your primary objective is to bring new people to your business AND that doing that means finding leads, what are these basic tools and how are they used?

Since I joined Contact List Builder and became an active member, I have been promoting BodyByVi health and diet products as my ‘primary’ business. I have taken the decision to change this to Karatbars.
BBV still make good products and I still use them. However, I have decided that Karatbars is a more attractive proposition with a potentially much wider audience. A few days ago, I notified everyone on my CLB mailing list of the change, and I have to say that I had a good result.
Several people who hadn’t been active in my CLB line contacted me to ask about it and are keen to join when they can. I hope to be seeing some early commissions in there.
Find out more from this video, then read on to find out how you can join.
I’m a Brit OK? We British have a reputation for being reserved in our dealings with other people. Maybe that’s wrong and maybe it’s right but I feel that in my business and in my personal life, there are lines not to cross and places I should not go when talking to other people.
Recently that led to coming smack up against a business colleague who evidently thinks that I am being negative and something of a wimp and because of that I’m losing out on potential business. I have to disagree and this blog post is about the two sides of that argument.

If, like me you are a CLB member, one of our downline builder programs is Adkreator and this is where we are taught to create our lead capture pages. These tend to be a bit formulaic and most members seem to just copy one of the shared ones rather than coming up with their own designs. It’s a reliable and well built program with no bugs that I’ve ever found. There are plenty of templates to help you or you can design your own. So why would I want to even look at something else? Please read on.
